Much like any other machine, if a virtual machine is broken, you need to be able to back up your files, and establish a quick and easy way to get it up and running. Just because it is called ‘virtual’ doesn’t mean it will remain free of problems. Even if you only lose one file, or one file is corrupted, users usually have to restore the whole snapshot.
